"Adelaide Hills House is artfully designed and decorated with great attention to detail, resulting in a beautifully elegant and comfortable residence. With the sun rising above the vineyards, I loved the calm picturesque views across the Piccadilly Valley and enjoyed scenic walks to nearby Mt Lofty and surrounding trails. The Uraidla and Crafers Hotels are both minutes away and the historic town of Hahndorf is only a short drive along the Motorway. I look forward to returning and highly recommend the experience."

"This is a special home in a beautiful place. I travel globally for work and this easily makes one of my top ten stays. The home and the grounds are perfectly manicured. Maxwell was an incredible host - responsive, attentive and hospitable. I look forward to my next visit and the opportunity to 'find home' again.

"We heard about Adelaide Hills House on Classic Cars Adelaide social media. For a committed historic motoring enthusiast, it did not disappoint. With scenic drives at every turn, the National Motor Museum at Birdwood and Gilberts Motor Museum and Collectable Classics both at Strathalbyn, this property is not only perfect in every way, but also perfectly located".

"Adelaide Hills is like nothing we have ever experienced. A perfect escape, yet so close to Adelaide. With the views, gardens and amenities, it was like being in the heart of Tuscany. There is nothing to fault as absolutely everything has been thought of".

"Adelaide Hills House was the perfect luxury weekend getaway. Such a beautiful home, exquisitely decorated and set in peaceful surrounds. It was so lovely waking up to the sound of birdlife and having a couple of kangaroos on the property".

"Honestly, one of the best places I have stayed at, not just in South Australia (including all of the luxury Hotels), but internationally as well. Do yourself a favour and stay here. I see it becoming one of the iconic places to stay in Adelaide".

"Stunning house which catered for all our needs in a peaceful and relaxing location. We were very grateful for the provisions left for us. The stay was even more beautiful than the listing described. We loved it".

"It is a fantastic place if you are after a private retreat to explore the Adelaide Hills. The amenities are first class along with the relaxed private setting overlooking the vineyards. There are kangaroos around the grounds in the early morning and evening. Maxwell the host is super knowledgeable about the Adelaide Hills region and is always very happy to help. All in all, a great package".

"Adelaide Hills House feels like a wellness sanctuary and the perfect getaway from daily life stresses. We loved our stay. The owners have thoughtfully and lovingly restored this house with such attention to detail and quality touches everywhere. Where to start! We loved the outdoor spaces – the fresh lavender, rosemary, fruit trees and vegetable garden for guests to use as well as the large pool with amazing views.
The front porch is the perfect spot for an early morning cup of tea as the sun rises with views over the vineyards - very special. Inside we loved the thoughtfulness of the renovation of this amazing 100-year old cottage. That gorgeous deep bath with its own private view out to the courtyard gardens. The underfloor heating in the bathroom is such an indulgent treat, the dressing room is an experience in itself and a comfy bed that just made sleep so restful. The kitchen has everything you need and you feel like you are stepping back in time in the second bedrooms with its amazing collection of leather-bound books. I highly recommend a wander down to the produce stall at the end of the road on your early morning walk to add to your bounty of goodies that are left by the expert host for your stay. Thank you as we can’t wait to return!"

"I booked Adelaide Hills House to celebrate a special occasion with my wife. I was looking for something private and indulgent in the Adelaide Hills area and it delivered. It’s set in a magical location sitting high overlooking the Piccadilly Valley. There’s acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and a pool all to yourself surrounding a tastefully restored cottage. We were there in autumn with bright sunny days and brisk evenings. The photos don’t capture the sense of space and fragrances you experience once settled in. Our day started with breakfast on the east facing porch. On the west side the ensuite’s enormous bath overlooks a delightful outdoor space to enjoy as the sun sets. The house has quality furnishings and appliances. The fireplace and underfloor heating make for cosy nights on the chesterfield. The local hiking trails are great as are the many foodie and wine-tasting gems such as nearby Uraidla with its quirky pub and the Mt Lofty Botanical Gardens. Highly recommended."

"Everything you need for a relaxing stay in the glorious Adelaide Hills. It is so well appointed and you can tell that a lot of effort has gone into creating this cosy luxurious retreat. Ideally located in the Piccadilly Valley overlooking the vineyards, I highly recommend Adelaide Hills House at Summertown for your soulful and calming stay. The accommodation has many thoughtful touches and the attention to detail was something else. The host, presentation and service was perfect, couldn’t imagine spending our anniversary anywhere else. Our favourite was to snuggle in the comfy bed looking the mist in the valley below as we enjoyed our morning coffee. The surrounding scenery is stunning, quiet and peaceful. Loved the proximity to local Adelaide Hills wineries, pubs and cafes. Next time we visit, we are sure to book a winery tour and a special dinner with the personal chef. This place is another level, a spectacular little winner. Thank you for an unforgettable experience."
