Wake up with views across the vineyards and the sounds of the Adelaide Hills. A retreat for the senses awaits you in this 1921 stone cottage originally set amongst market gardens that nourished the community for over a century, a legacy that continues today.
Sensitively restored, Adelaide Hills House nurtures Guests needing time to rest, relax and recharge. We invite you to pamper your senses surrounded by lavender, carefully manicured gardens, your own private magnesium mineral heated swimming pool with views of luscious vines and truffle nesting oak trees. Design your own experience by adding a private chef, a winery tour or a wellness program (as of April 2025) as you explore South Australia.
ACCOMMODATION
Ideal for one or two couples seeking a private luxury retreat. Adelaide Hills House has a master bedroom suite with king sized bed, walk-in dressing room and ensuite bathroom with heated floors, a second bedroom with valley views, second bathroom and tastefully furnished open plan living, dining and kitchen areas. Set amongst 1.5 acres of manicured gardens, amenities include a heated swimming pool with sweeping vineyard views, sauna room, luxury bathtub overlooking a private parterre garden, gourmet kitchen, baby grand piano, 65-inch smart TV, Bose and Sonos sound system, wood fireplace, outdoor dining areas, under cover parking for two vehicles and a vegetable garden. Guests are welcome to invite up to six (6) visitors (friends) for lunch, dinner and/or swimming in the swimming pool. No approval is required. Visitors remain the responsibility of the house Guests at all times.
WHO IS THIS PROPERTY FOR?
Adelaide Hills House is a private luxury retreat for mature guests focused on their personal wellbeing and invigorated by unique experiences. The property is popular with guests celebrating an anniversary, with motoring enthusiasts and for rest and relaxation in beautiful surroundings. We reserve our right to screen all booking requests prior to providing approval. Children under the age of 18 years are not permitted, however, young children under two years accompanied by adults are permitted upon request.
CUSTODIANS
The custodians of Adelaide Hills House are Martin Haese and Genevieve Theseira-Haese. Martin is a former Lord Mayor of Adelaide and former CEO of the SA Business Chamber (Chamber of Commerce and Industry). Martin is a business owner, current Special Envoy to Singapore and Southeast Asia for Trade and Investment and Chair of the Premier's Climate Change Council, both for the Government of South Australia. Having lived and worked in Singapore, United States, United Kingdom and now South Australia, Genevieve is a accomplished advertising executive, global wellness entrepreneur and former Lady Mayoress of Adelaide. Martin and Genevieve welcome you to Adelaide Hills House.
Adelaide Hills House is managed by Maxwell (Max) Mason of Maximise Concierge who will look after your booking, ensure that the property is prepared for you and attend to any enquiries you may have. In addition, your stay at Adelaide Hills House can be enhanced by our team of expert service providers where you can book our private chefs Marshi and Steven of Soul Food, enjoy a bespoke winery tour with Michael Errey of The Glass Half Full Tours or hire some high-quality bicycles from Martin Grace from Adelaide Bike Hire.
